Surgical Analytics Database (SAD)

In 2021 the NORI group established their Surgical Analytics Database (SAD). This database was founded in conjunction with Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) over a 2 year design and development process.

A vault of orthopaedic information, the SAD relies on Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) to allow the NORI group to deliver and develop world class treatment.

The NORI group involves patients in the process of orthopaedic surgical development through their involvement in the surgical database. Every patient who participates in this database is contributing to the development of orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedic treatment locally, nationally and internationally through the NORI group.

Information and analytics from the SAD is used to assess components of treatment and allows for development and assessment of surgical techniques.
